Based upon the social norms of the time, norms that were far more racist, I don expect one could know or figure out the actual race profile of those measured. There was no objective test of a person's racial profile and only physical differences were really the dominant determination. There was no real tracking back to some birth certificate and race could often be what one said it was. Now you may find this interesting. I've set the time start to the DNA part. This is a presentation of Willis Eschenbach, ICCC7. Willis is a carpenter by trade and publishes some of the most informative science analysis articles I have read posted at the WUWT blog. The basic conclusion presented is that some DNA is turned off and changes in environment can switch it on. And that is how all species survive catastrophic global climate change or not.

I've tried to set the time start to the DNA part, 556 seconds in about 9 minutes in. But the first part is also about OMG, all the animals are becoming extinct because of evil humans NOT.
