I am not certain which major exchange Unitec will seek listing on.
Initially I heard rumors of NASDQ, but now I think the focus has shifted to the TSE. There are a number of advantages in listing on a larger more sophisticated exchange. These exchanges tend to attract investors with a long term value approach rather than short term players who flip paper for a quick buck. I try yo apply the long term value approach to the few gems I can find on the VSE, understanding that a company can be undervalued simply because it is listed on the VSE. Unitec must achieve certain performance and share price targets befor it can be listed on the TSE or NASDQ.
I am quite confident it will meet these targets, and hence believed buying the stock now at a low price is better than later at a higher price. The price of the stock will trade at a higher premium once it is cleared to trade on a larger exchange.
