The cat is now out of the bag. thanks for the post, JB. Question is, exactly why would ALtera sue CL? If CL has a novel approach, how would it infringe on anything ALtera makes or does? I don't understand?

JB,Same Article on Clear Logic contains interesting news on TCI

a couple of bullets down....So they will use WinCe and WebTv Tech.
....AS far as IDT is concerned this could either be a BIG WIN
for BIG LOSS.....in other words whatever cpu goes into tci set
top boxes will also probably endup in WebTV.
