Thanks for the video on the trains. Planes don't scale up well for large populations like China's for heavily travelled routes. Cars make even less sense. High speed rail makes much more sense. Unfortunately, the U.S. has little interest in high speed rail. Perhaps some day virtual reality will make most travel unnecessary, at least for work. It's amazing what China has accomplished in such short time.
