Thanks. I might need to look at something a bit more straightforward first to get my bearings (as it were) in the data that is being presented.

Looking at the top of the Earths atmosphere, the lack of solar activity is definitely having an effect.

"The Chill of Solar Minimum" from September 2018.

I am not inferring this has anything to do with surface temperatures, or Climate Change as is, it's just interesting the mechanisms that are occurring.

By the way, I lived in Rohnert Park for about a year back in 1986 before moving to Half Moon Bay for another year or two. I found the cooler temperatures, fogs, and sea breezes more comfortable with my light skin.

NASA look to be getting another instrument up to measure the incident solar radiation.
