Sal, If you believe that you are quite wrong. CE will be made to look and feel like WIN95/NT, and others will not be able to do the same. There will be gradations in CE, as CPUs and memory get better and an upgrade path the others cannot follow will be there.
The saassorted hand held stuff has not hued to a standard yet. Therwe are diverse competing platforms. Care to place your bets on CE versus the rest??

And they do have a valid* argument in that "laptop" is used on your
lap, "HandHeld PC" is used in your hands, and "PalmPC" is used in your palm.


And I believe that MSFT has tried, unsuccessfully, to legally own the name "Windows", but this has been ruled a generic term.
