We can study the climate, and keep the air clean, but that's about it.

Nature does the rest as Crichton states. However, we dont just chit in the living room and say everything is OK as some industrialists who can only see their bank balances indicate we should do.

The ozone hole and CFC's were a big deal not so long ago, and thankfully something was done about that.

The ban came into effect in 1989. Ozone levels stabilized by the mid-1990s and began to recover in the 2000s. Recovery is projected to continue over the next century, and the ozone hole is expected to reach pre-1980 levels by around 2075. [4] The Montreal Protocol is considered the most successful international environmental agreement to date.

I think 5G will be a disaster, and I hope the UK doesn't not fall prey to fracking as our water is one of the best supplies in the world.

So, ... I do believe we need to keep good house keeping in our small little world. I will have more to say on that later. The Chinese consumption of coal is what the environmentalists should be on about at the moment. The Chinese can consume their coal of course but they could could maybe do more to use it cleanly.

I had coal shares some time ago hoping something might be done. Nothing yet. The UK doesnt much have much in the way of coal left.

James, great passage from Michael Crichton.

Now let me play Libtard Advocate. Quoting from Crichton:
Our atmosphere is as violent as the land beneath it. At any moment there are one thousand five hundred electrical storms across the planet. Eleven lightning bolts strike the ground each second. A tornado tears across the surface every six hours. And every four days a giant cyclonic storm, hundreds of miles in diameter, spins over the ocean and wreaks havoc on the land.
But, but climate change is increasing the number of electrical storms at any moment to one thousand, five hundred and five!

Climate change also increased the number of lightning bolts striking the ground from eleven to twelve every second!

A tornado now tears across the surface every 5 hours and 45 minutes instead of every six hours!

And you know those giant cyclonic storms that spin over the ocean and wrecking havoc on land? The average strength of those storms have increased by 5-10%!

We need to drastically reduce our carbon footprint so that we can go back to the way things were!

Because SCIENCE,
