Mr. 2, You posted; "...I feel that it is important to listen to these once burned investors. The reason is simple. In terms of individual investors these folks are our next wave of buyers. So spill the beans boys who have been singed, tell it what it will take for you to take the plunge into Naxos." My answer to you is that there are no documented cases of a wolf attacking a human being in North America. Lots of scary stories, none true. Wolves do attack things, this is true, apparently not humans very often at least. This not my wolf story, that is still to come. Starting with Mr. Cohen, (you were on that campaign, remember?) we have acquired many Naxonians formerly skeptical. I have suggested that the attitude on our thread should develop along the lines of the positive: "Anxiety must be abandoned. The disappointments hardest to bear are those which never come." My suggestion to cross posters is a simple one, "Most cries of "Wolf" are false ones; as false as are most shouts of "Blue Sky." J. L. Turner in posting # 8282 says, "I love your wit, but you have a way of making a cross-poster feel more like a cross dresser." Well, Mr. Turner, for some that can be fun, fun, fun! <G> It all depends on your point of view! Seriously, though, you must admit that the flurry of postings subsequent were all of outstanding quality. After a thread deterioriates, all lament. :-( An ounce of prevention, as they say. Larry Brubaker in #8278 says, "My question to you is how do you DD a black box? You or anyone else posting on this thread (and quite possibly Dr. Johnon himself)has no idea whether Naxos will ultimately be successful in achieving economic recovery." Interesting point, Mr. Brubaker, but what is Technical Analysis but another form of a black box -- input conditions; output suggestions. The way to DD a black box is to get into it, past the theories and numbers representing it. I believe that is exactly what Dr. Johnson has done and it's taken 17 years. My speculative hunch is that he really does understand what it will take for a scale-up of his process. However, like all speculation only time and results will tell. Ken Rosenfeld in his posting #8280 said, "I only hope his words turn out to be prophetic (and I am liking my chances of that happening quite alot right now)." It may be comforting for you to know, Mr. Rosenfeld, I believe my role is more of "scout" than "prophet." That said I must admit that from day one on this thread I have indicated that my position with respect to Naxos is not one of doubt or speculation. I have expressed only certainty as to the outcome with respect to the eventual demonstration of large quantities of economically recoverable precious metals at Franklin Lake. And always included the stipulation that time and results will tell. Out of fairness to Mr. Mazzarella I must acknowledge that since last summer he has been saying that until economic recovery adequately has been demonstrated to total satisfaction this deal is not done, and speculative risk reigns supreme. It is only recently that the consensus ot the thread has centered on this point of view. Mr. Mazzarella gets full credit for calling that one. Jerard P P.S. Mr. Volquardsen; Outstanding exposition! Great contribution!
