Stich, there is so much to learn to learn from you even by asking simple questions: -more << Malaysia has price controls on may items including rice, fish, chicken, chili padi, gasoline, and a host of other goods and services. >> These things I didn't know before - and I have to say it's not exactly what you call a market driven economy, then... BTW are such price controls in place in other SEA countries as well? Maybe Tom has a something to say on Indonesia to this regard. I think in Japan, these common everyday items float freely, n'est-ce pas? (OK, but Japan has lots of import restrictions/hurdles.) Now that I know you, what have I done all those years before??
