Yousef, everybody in the DRAM biz right now is having problems. MU is selling off assets left and right. BUT, who has gotten out? MOT has intimated that they were planning on exiting, and TXN has said the same thing. Right? These other companies are still in, but have scaled back on expansion plans and/or closed plants that are no longer viable. I don't think they've said they're getting out, but I haven't really been paying attention. Its still early, and things are probably going to be painful for a bit longer, I'd guess.

yousef, you have confused delaying fabs and postponing equipment with "giving up."

might i remind you that mu delayed lehi and is also postponing buying upgraded equipment.

using your logic, they are "giving up" and are "small players."

mu isn't and neither are the koreans.
