Re:Zacks own rec for AMAT is a "mild sell".

GM,

I tend to use the analysts as contrary indicators. During the past few years, I've made some investment decisions partly based on their outlook. They have helped me a great deal- to lose $$ that is. I am glad to see that they still have the .50 for the qtr. and $2.00 for the year, but if they truly believed these #'s wouldn't we be higher right now? Yahoo comes out with about .02 in eps and they are rewarded with another couple of bucks.

I have lost all faith that the market is either efficient or rational. Hopefully some irrational exhuberance will find its way into AMAT's stock price and I can take advantage of it. These past few months the market has treated me like a cheap hooker. I still can barely sit down without any pain<G>

Reagrds,

Brian

GM - My version of "Zacks", via MS Investor, shows 24 analysts having a mean recommendation of 1.8 which is a moderate buy.
