It reveals that Europe's sales is a lot better than expected, but the
same trend is also reflected in other companies, such as, Sun Micro,
Intel, and DEC. Can the overall growth be substained in Q2? Few will
expect that will happen, but still possible. It may occur in other
area.

Can Apple's "quality" quarter report boost stock price in the near
future? I don't know. In next week, several key beltweather
companies, such as IBM, Microsoft will give their reports, which may
drive the entire tech stock up or down. Other than reports, Apple's
board and shareholder meetings (2/3; 2/20 respectively) may also give
it a lift.

With recent good news, Apple's stock price should be able to stablize
at the current level. Whether or not it will break 20 before board
meeting (2/3/98) remains to be seen. Does anybody have comments
regarding Apple stock's near-term movement?
