My problem with Gillibrand is that she fell into the zero-tolerance presumed guilty trap with Franken, despite his apology and call for open investigation. I understand that many disagree with me on my criticisms of the me-too movement when it comes to zero-tolerance and trial-by-viral media. I freely and sincerely acknowledge that we had/have a global and local rape culture and that it is a critical social evolution to move forward and CHANGE THE MEMES. Clearly Franken's case, launched by a Hannity-ally who herself was pinching men's butts as part of her USO shtick, was worthy of some fairness and justice. I would vote Kirsten her over any current Republican. Its all relative.
