You have a point .. I've bankrupted nothing, no casinos, I haven't had an airline's planes foreclosed on, I haven't had a string of failed businesses over my lifetime. I haven't had to pay $25M to settle the suckers I conned out of big bucks. I have never conspired with hostile foreign powers for money. Next to Donald Trump I'm a nobody. But then I didn't inherit a massive fortune.

Top Bush DOJ official reportedly helped keep opioid executives from prison

bizpacreview.com
  • The head of the Justice Department’s criminal division during the George W. Bush administration reportedly opposed pursuing felony charges against pharmaceutical company executives blamed for helping start the opioid epidemic.
  • After a recommendation to indict executives from Purdue Pharma, some DOJ officials still didn’t support taking such action, according to The New York Times.
  • Opioid deaths, which have dramatically increased since 2007, have largely been linked to the Sackler family, which owns Purdue Pharma.
