Anand's results show that a 333 Mhz PII has a Business Winstone of 67.2 (per his test system configuration), while a 166 Mhz 6x86MX has a score of 56.3. So, the PII system running at twice the clock (and twice the memory bus speed) is only 19.4% faster. Or, due to the nature of fractions, at half the clock and bus speeds, the Cyrix chip is only 14% slower than the new Intel chip. Wow! Intel better get the BX chip set out in a hurry, if they don't want to be embarassed by every super socket 7 system review in late March and early April.
