I have not heard of The Fleetwoods, the band Fleetwood Mac was an enormous success of the seventies. They have gone thier own ways for a time, you may have heard of Stevie Nicks, she was the lead singer who has done some things since then.

" I will admit to having a problem buying into the premise that everyone who smokes tobacco will die a horrible and premature death because of it" It really is an odds thing. We can all think of someone who lived to a ripe old age and smoked. My father loves to remind me of the russian lady who at 100 smoked and drank a glass of vodka every day. My view is a little jaded because half of the problems I see every day in my office are life style related ie smoking and eating too much. I only see the people who have problems with smoking, but believe me they are big problems. Try on this scenario: You make it really big on a stock ie you buy a bre-x and sell on just the right day. You have a wonderful life, (whatever you see that as), you develope a cough, not a bad one just one that does not go away like the common cold. You also have been having a lot of headaches, you see your doctor. You have a lung cancer with spread to the brain and nothing can be done. Sorry is this sounds melodramatic or histionic, but cannot pass up any opportunity to convince someone to quit smoking. I guess you are right in a way Life is short and then you die......
