Greg, I am trying to follow your rationale with little success. On and off for the past year, I have been taking positions: CCs, buy puts and calls with mixed success - so I am what I would call a neophyte to option strategies.

Could you explain why the need for the LEAPS - especially the Jan 99 20 Call for 21 7/8 (or refer me to a post explaining your approach). To me it appears like an expensive investment especially since I do not see its purpose.

The rest: rolling over the CCs and the Put for insurance appear relatively strait forward.
