Terry, CREAF does not manufacture their own drives, they have outsourced the operation. I suggest you e-mail the company, because I would also be interested to hear the answers. I can do this if you'd like...

Terry and Brian, according to a report put out by DMG on Nov. 4, 97 CREAF sources their DVDs from Panasonic and Toshiba. The report indicates that Toshiba management stated that Creaf orders the machines on a weekly basis to ensure that no inventory buildups take place.

Terry, Sounds like the question is answered. One other point. I've been watchng the short interest on a number of tech stocks is that generally over the last eight weeks, short interest positions have been shrinking.....
