I am in either the learning or advancing to the guessing mode, or the other way around.

it is difficult to tell even if real time re cause / effect

did Rome fall because of barbarians visitation, or did the barbarians visit because Rome could not pay its defenders adequately, or did the cost of maintaining Rome became an unaffordable undertaking?

same w/ the Ming Dynasty, that which followed Yuan and proceeded Qing Dynasties

I consulted a chart on the wall of the coconut's room and could not come to any conclusion

Of one thing am fairly certain, that all domains of this day followed on to the domains of yester-year on the chart, and I have no particular or any hint of reasoning to have faith that any can escape the logic of whatever befell the domains that had gone before

Only issue be which domain is about where on the cycles that recur, and the passage of time shall settle with certainty

Carthage fits somewhere on the chart. Carthage failed the test. Its money survived. I have one.

In so far we try to be evidence-based, I have evidence that gold can survive existential events failed by all
