Hi GD: Just jumping in with a casual observation from a usual-lurker. It seems to me that it is all a matter of time frames, i.e. when P Engr forecasts the "bear", does he mean that it will be with us for two months, six months, eighteen months, the millenium---what? If P.E. is a short term kind of guy, then his analysis must be viewed in that light.. Big Dog takes the more macro approach and appears to be more long-term oriented. Thus, both could be right depending on the time frame involved. If P Engr is looking ahead more than a couple of months, my sense is that he will be proven wrong. mph
