One of the technical services which I saw recently indicated that the stock in recent days (not weeks) has has positive on balance volume. This is the same service that indicated to sell the stock at $ 8.00 and change in q4 97. I didn't really listen to it then, maybe I should now.

The broker through which I trade has a market technician customer who has been folloowing VLNC for more than a year. Last week he bought his first shares: 5,000 at $ 4.75 and another 5,000 at $ 5.00.
He has said he thinks the worst is over and the stock should begin a steady climb to within the old May 97 high ($ 10). Who knows?

To me the real key is some confirmation that OEMs have received batteries from Ireland, have ordered batteries, or signed a contract. Still hopeful it will happen in Q1 98.
