Tunica, you said:<<Frostman Re: Pfizer '98 EPS to go from $1.70 to 2.00, with PE 38 . How about investing in Vivus, '98 EPS to go from $1 to 2 with current PE 10 !>>> How about that!!!! They say if you ain't the lead sled-dog, the view never changes. The view seems to be changing. <g>

Go Vivus!

On what basis do you predict earnings going to $2 next year? When I look at Yahoo for consensus estimates, they show 1.02. Admittedly, that number looks goofy given the revenue growth etc. we have seen, but I wonder what different data you are looking at?

I am not making any kind of prediction or quarrel here--just trying to get at the difference in data sources. Thanks!

What is relevant for the future price of this stock
or any other stock is the perception of future earning ability. There are so many contradictions
with very high and low pe's as to be a rediculous indication of price. Lets hope the future looks
briht for VVUS especially to the big money!!

TA: Do you think your PFE predicting skills have improved?

October 8, 1997 TA PFE ( 64 1/2 ) << Maybe Brad should consider selling his PFE at the present ? high.>>

November 7, 1997 TA PFE( 70 15/16 ) << Also IMHO, I would get out of PFE. Too high PE. 30? I can assure PFE is not going to grow @ 30%/year>>

On Friday PFE closed at 77, a 19.3 % increase over 10/8/97 and an 8.4 % increase over 11/7/97.
