hpeace- Thank you. Now I don't feel so bad about spending the extra $200 on a scanner. And, if I can refrain from looking all the time at computer prices, I won't feel so bad when my system is half price next year.

George

Steve.....(Since I haven't heard from you yet I will at this point only assume I am writing the Steve who's experience with, and opinions on, CPQ is the most extensive and knowledgeable on the CPQ thread).....Do you recall any similar Quarters over the years, when CPQ has been ready to report and/or ready to split where the price of the stock has moved so tentatively?........Is it possible, that unlike INTC's fairly large move before they reported, CPQ's run-up will be AFTER earnings are announced?.......Do you have any reason to believe there has not been a PRE-SPLIT and PRE-EARNINGS run-up (potentially a DOUBLE positive influence) because there's nothing to get excited about........What's your opinion?.........George
