OT--what do you make of AOL's quarter? As far as I can tell it doesn't look like they're going to be able to impress anyone with their ad revenues (I wouldn't be suprised to see them down sequentially again), but the big mystery, at least in my book, is subscriber growth. . . The really bad reputation that they've acquired over the past few months has to start wearing on them sooner or later, don't you think. I think if they add any few than 500,000 net subscribers, they're going to bet punished for it. An then there's earnings--I'll be shocked to see anything over $.20/share. I'm interested in your take on things. I haven't jumped into those puts yet, I'm waiting for my IOM investment to return at least 3x before I impale myself playing with AOL <grin>. . .
