I was always surprised Google ever allowed ad blockers at all in Chrome, especially in their own store.

I only used Chrome for one purpose these days –– to for websites that require Adobe Flash for functionality. I removed Flash from my system well over a year ago for security reasons, but Chrome has an embedded version called Pepper Flash.

The only site that required it was Ticketmaster when I wanted to purchase tickets for my local baseball team. It looks like they rewrote the site and no longer require it, so I may never have to use Chrome again.
