Didn't know there was a thread for P&F. Glad to have found it.

3 line break (and all around good source for TA) explanation @ equis.com

3 line break uses open-close instead of hi-lo - but same concept.

3 line break on-going discussion on the "covered calls" thread - with link to Wouglas Web's 3 line break web page. exchange2000.com

Jan:

I've ordered the book. A few questions if I may. Do you rely on the charts as offered by Tom Dorsey on his web site, or do you prepare them with software - and if so which program?

I've been using Window on Wallstreet (reversal formula) but can't seem to get it to track with those at Dorsey's web site A specific example - SANM which had an 8 point move yesterday (10 using hi) and no additional Xs were added. Software problem? Interpretation problem?

At any rate, thanks for the referral to the dorseywright web site. If you feel so inclined, I'd be very interested to learn what other indicators you use in conjunction with P&F and what you use as trading signals. TIA.

I thought this would be a good place to open up a Point and Figure discussion as to the overal market, sector risk, bullish percents and various stock movements.
