First he is a human, so let the perfect folks throw the first stone. He has a lot of weird ideas I don't agree with

Smart, funny , open, sane and tries hard to tell the truth. And he is funny. And he likes telling jokes and it is what he was doing with Coulter. Notice how he puts his knuckles up to his eyes, that means:" what the fuck are they saying"!-lol. He did that with one of her nutso ideas.

He would say he has no responsibility to make his shows so they are useful to you-lol. Part of his attraction is that he does not pander, but also deosn't get worked up about brain dead Republicans. He knows there is nothing that can be done except say WTF-lol?

I had lots of relationships over the years that looked just like an average show of his , at parties.

It is sometimes fun to joke with a frenemy that has other reasons to be friends. Best was to lubricate a debate.
