I actually enjoyed the rest of the show after Coulter. All the guests were top notch. And Bill Maher always makes me laugh my ass off. And he has to be given credit for his fairness in always having someone from the right on his show to at least give the other side a seat a the table, to spew their warped views of society.

I have a lot of respect for you, always have. But I really disagree with you. I love that guy, and have followed him for 20 years and even paid for HBO just to watch him on Friday night, and I think a pretty good understand of him. He was just messing around with an old friend. .

They have been friends and lovers for a long time. He did not want to crush her, and just wanted to screw around. He had her on her heels during the entire interview because she could not counter the facts he was laying out. She said:'you can call me a silly girl". She was admitting her faith in Trump was naive.

How is that winning :)>?

But she is just a weird sociopath and he knows that better than most and so was just playing with her. You were seeing how they banter in real life. And he was applying his existential prerogative to also be friends with her and lover.

He was not doing a serious interview and he would say that was his prerogative.

I think Maher's interview with Coulter went poorly, and overall
the show was below average. Maher appeared flustered and
frustrated, and Coulter came out of the starting gate letting him
know he wasn't going to control the interview or her for that
matter. While I agree with your opinion of Coulter as a person
and as a particulary nasty fascist politcal pundit, on the show
she ably put forth lies that she supports the working class, and
that the building the wall is an effective way to confront the Koch
brothers. Next time Maher has Coulter on his show I suggest
he not sleep with her the night before (just making a joke here).
