It is now far longer than the 24 hours that it should take for a prima facie case for arrest to be determined on a habeas corpus freedom-loving basis.

If that was my mother under arrest for no apparently reasonable basis I would be very political indeed. China is quite reasonably scaling up pressure against arrest without trial. Very large compensation is due.
