Democrats are MELTING DOWN over former Starbucks CEO’s announcement on 2020!
JAN. 27, 2019 4:11 PM BY SOOPERMEXICANNO COMMENTS

Democrats and other liberals are melting down on Twitter because Howard Schultz, the former CEO of Starbucks, is announcing that he might start a “self-funded independent presidential run.”

They think this will just lead to splitting the vote and giving the election to Trump:

Vanity projects that help destroy democracy are disgusting. If he enters the race, I will start a Starbucks boycott because I’m not giving a penny that will end up in the election coffers of a guy who will help Trump win. t.co

— Neera Tanden (@neeratanden) January 26, 2019I do hope you enjoy our liberal meltdown coverage as much as I do:

The best thing that Howard Schultz can do for the country is invest in education, voting rights, civil rights, and climate advocacy. There is zero appetite for this, and there is an urgent need for the Democratic candidate to win in 2020.

— Brian Schatz (@brianschatz) January 26, 2019Howard Schultz? That’s gonna be a venti Fuck No for me

— Brett Hamil (@BrettHamil) January 27, 2019Implore @SteveSchmidtSES to lean on Howard Schultz, whom he's advising. I believe Steve knows Schultz has no chance and could only be a spoiler, and I know Steve does not want to do anything that might help re-elect Trump. t.co

— Topher Spiro (@TopherSpiro) January 26, 2019I’m sure there’s no connection between Howard Schultz floating a Presidential run right around the time of the release of his book

— Dan Pfeiffer (@danpfeiffer) January 26, 2019. @HowardSchultz running for POTUS as an independent would put the froth on @realDonaldTrump ‘s Cinnamon Dolce Latte, splitting the opposition and making Trump’s low ceiling potentially high enough.https://t.co/O6HsJAL8sP

— David Axelrod (@davidaxelrod) January 21, 2019

Hey @HowardSchultz, please think long and hard before you do this. Think about the country t.co

— Patti Solis Doyle (@PattiSolisDoyle) January 26, 2019Dear Howard Schultz,
Love that you want to help the country. Running for president won’t do that. It will hurt it. Donate your money. Campaign for the Democratic candidate. Don’t be Jill Stein. Don’t help re-elect Trump.
Thank you,
America

— WA Democrats (@washdems) January 26, 2019That's right. Trump opponents need to unite, not splinter. @HowardSchultz shouldn't abet Trump's only strategy, which is divide and conquer. t.co

— Paul Begala (@PaulBegala) January 26, 2019Let's pause and appreciate that Howard Schultz moaning about "both parties" is not at all unusual among billionaires.

They all want a party that caters to billionaires without the baggage. That will never exist because normal people hate billionaires' political laundry list.

— Matthew Chapman (@fawfulfan) January 27, 2019And a threat! LOL!!

Hey, Howard Schultz, if you are really thinking about running as an independent and playing spoiler, don’t effing do it. We Democrats will rain hellfire down upon you. Your selfishness and stupidity could get Donald Trump re-elected.

— Adam Best (@adamcbest) January 26, 2019

This guy is trying to draft Beto O’Rourke:

I will not only #BoycottStarbucks if Howard Schultz runs for President as an independent, but stand outside everyday protesting.

His ego and selfishness is disgraceful. t.co

— Nate Lerner (@NathanLerner) January 26, 2019So amazing.

Gonna be interesting when independent spoiler candidate Howard Schultz’s most committed base of voters are Twitter Democrats who scream “but Bernie’s not a Democrat!”

— David Sirota (@davidsirota) January 27, 2019If Howard Schultz decided to run for president as an independent, he would likely insure a Republican win -- either Trump or some other Republican. We don't need another Ralph Nader. Retire Howard, and contribute to the world some other way than running for president.

— Tony Schwartz (@tonyschwartz) January 27, 2019Still uncertain of who to support as @TheDemocrats nominee for President, but I am 100 PERCENT CERTAIN of two things:

1. I’ll NEVER support vanity, ‘independent’ spoiler candidacies like those of @HowardSchultz or Russian stooges like @DrJillStein

2. I’m forever #NeverBernie

— Fernand R. Amandi (@AmandiOnAir) January 27, 2019Ahhhh. So. Fun.

Here’s Schultz the Spoiler Supreme:
