In 1963, families near the top had six times the wealth of families in the middle.
By 2016, they had 12 times the wealth of families in the middle.
After tRump Tax Cut, by 2020, I bet they will have 24 times the wealth of families in the middle.

Young people are screwed, old people are doing well.

Relatively speaking as a population group.

Not true for many individuals.

Poor seniors (the renters and asset-limited so to speak) vs. rich kids - especially kids of the privileged rich.

Poor kids (by luck, by tilted playing fields) vs. rich seniors (sometimes merited to a point, but out a standard deviation often luck or subsidized by privilege.)

Both bell curves - one skewed a little more due to the tax laws and senior social nets (seniors vote, kids do not.)

We have to be careful of drawing conclusions from broad statistics.

I am also over-generalizing.

Not if the progressives have anything to say about it.

And the women, kids and minorities, are hanging with the progressive Democratic party, which seems to me to be in control going forward.

I loved Harris's speech today. Big tax increases for the rich and tax cuts for the middle class and universal health care and debt free college.

That is exactly what we need.

Young people are screwed, old people are doing well. The last Republican president really destroyed the younger group. This Republican so-called President will kill off the younger generations.
