Andy, <<respected opinion around here>> Not lately. <VBG> I sense that the disaster "de jour" for IPM is easing somewhat. IPM does have a large body of precious metal ore. The current issue is whether recovery greater than 0.04+ OPT is economically possible. My speculation is that recovery will eventually show grades approaching 0.1 OPT or greater. As Maxam has shown, these deposits are not homogenous and continued work to optimize deposit location will only increase IPM's potential. IPM does trade on NASDAQ, has institutional interest, some COC, and has been a master for raising money for operations. They are not dead by a long shot IMO. Time heals wounds and I expect the problems of the past to actually make IPM a more responsible and better company in the future. How convinced am I that IPM is a currently a good desert dirt play? I don't own any IPM. I believe that Maxam and MG Gold are better choices at this time.
