Hmmm i guess you are right...
I didnt really say what I meant
or maybe it is the NewJersey /Indiana use of words that causes miscommunication...

"Reds start out one way
and continue along that line."

to me this means if we open down...we are going down
if we open up we are going up

and you dont need to look at anything else
so if it is a red day...you know by the open what is going to happen

" Red days open near the low or high and
close at the opposite end.'

This sentence can only be known at the end of the day ( or really sometime later in the day as the market direction is shown)...we can open
with a gap up and go either way(it can be the high or the low of the day) or open flat and go either way and only at the end of the day can you call it a low or a high...

so for direction you need to look at something else....like the lunar effect....or anything that will give you a clue as to whether a 100 point open is the high or the low so that you can get a clue which way to trade it.

understand the difference in the sentences?
