I'm With You There Thomas............

Iv'e pretty well had it with trying to rationalize/fundamentalize/
realize/barometerize/actualize so I can predict/adumbrate/auspicate/
prognosticate the direction of gold's price over the next six months.
There are just too many factors,as can be witnessed here,to be truly
definitive with reason on major price direction.

This quote from Forbes in that same article says so much.......

Inflation is virtually dead, as most business
executives can attest. Real interest rates,
especially in the short end, are historically high.
No wonder the price of gold-the most sensitive
barometer of monetary policy there is-has
crashed to levels not seen in a dozen years.

Has Steve and some newcomers here forgotten the events of past 1997?
Were they not on this earth when small central banks announced it's
gold sales and we saw the price plummet in sharp short intervals?
Why are all the " experts " now trying to rationalize, with talks of
deflation and Asian demand,to a gold market and J.Q.P. in what may
be described as the hoax of the decade? Why are so many so interested
in not reporting the realities of the gold market? Why would talk of
deflation in North America have such an impact on the POG on a global
level, when we are only marginal consumers in the big picture? Some may
say .." oh its going lower " simply because it has been going lower.
Some will say.. " oh its going higher " simply because it is at the
low end of an historical range.Funny stuff............

It's game folks..thats it......nothing but a cat and mouse game at
this point.Unfortunately, the mice appear to have the mainstream media
on their side, since a low gold price would have the average North
American genius thinking " all's well in paradise ".And the noble
prize winning derivative scam taking advantage of all that's offered.
And the kittens, who have aided the debacle in the name of protecting
their shareholders, are trying to claw themselves out of this mess. And
the big cats now prowling around as saviors to the industry, buying
and making deals with those they helped cripple..........

Bottom line for me Thomas, read the numbers and adjust accordingly.
Read the news and take all with a grain of salt...pos. or negative.
Don't extend or position yourself at too much risk in a game being
played out by unknown players in an arena with little accountability.
