I am running windows 98 beta 3 and it is much faster than 95 on my MX233.

Yeah, I heard about that too, except that they mentioned it ran really slow, it could be due to the fast application loads ( software supplied by Intel to Microsoft). Know anything about this.

But like you say, nothing is certain. But then again, the 6xstuff may be history by that time... Have you looked at the prices lately, a PR200 with less ram and smaller disk etc.. costs more than a Pentium 200.

They must be targeting the PRcrap to people like fuchi, who likes to swap CPU's and run benchmarks. I am just concerned that there are very few of them around, and pretty soon there may not be a market for these things.
