for context, I generally think in usd terms when the subject is gold, the brick, and

in local currency terms (aud, cad, etc) when the subject is gold, the mine

when guessing about macro and such, I keep the brick front-top of mind, and the mines at back of mind

interesting to see where the Venezuelan gold goes, and go it shall, 200 tons, must be liberated or vaporised, for that is the general fate of all gold bricks, and yes, in Venezuela gold looks very good, and for those able to hold on to mines, any mine, including coal mine, all good

the coconut's cousins are miners and bankers and doctors, and all seems okay for now, hubbed around Maracaibo and Caracas

many of the kids evacuated to Panama City and points north but generally no further north than Miami of Florida

one military cousin may return from Colombia after waiting since the last round several year's ago before Maduro took power

should events go right, I would like to pay a visit

watch & brief, all very exciting
