I'm deciding between True C900 treadmill with the orthopedic belt: truefitness.com or Life Fitness Platinum series treadmill or better based on future research. It will be a permanent placement in the new house.
I'm not willing buy the treadmill as a disposable item.
I have a high end folding treadmill in my current living room.

You don't know how many miles are on a gym's treadmill.
Treadmills wear out like a car.
You don't want a treadmill with 100,000 miles or more on it.
Treadmill's cushioning is like a car's suspension.

PS- There should be an odometer inside the high end commercial treadmill.
