I follow that line of reasoning except for the 1-0 score.... how do the Pats get that 1 pt.? In that scenario, wouldn't it be 0-0 with the Pats getting the trophy? That would be something to talk about, but wouldn't provide much time for adult beverages or copious quantities of chili, etc. You know... if something like that happened, I think CBS could still make their money simply by running all of the SB commercials non-stop for however long they have commercials to air... might actually boost TV ratings!
