I have a question regarding one of your statements, but your e-mail doesn't work. Could you clarify the statement that "all" these co's are getting settlements? I was not aware that KGFC was any further than the recourse to the International Courts. Please advise.

Tango, being a broker you will be one of the first to know when SPE reaches 50 cents. My guess is it'll happen this next week or two.

As far as shorting it at that point I'll leave that up to you and your great wisdom but I would warn you the opposite of what you are warning me. SPE is in a much better position to withstand an attack on her than the last time it traded there.

Why wait till SPE reaches .50 to short it anyway. You think it's such a poor company short it at .42 or do you think it might quickly gain 16%.There are no short contracts on spe now so if you want to be a trendsetter put your money where your mouth is.

If you want to come to this tread with breaking news or an opinion feel free to do so but please refrain from basing your life saving advise on news that is months old. Any broker should know, that in a world changing as fast as ours is, that is not how money is managed.

For analyst comments see http://.steppe-gold.com/Yorkton/dec19-97.html
These are a little dated as well because SPE no longer trades at .27
Do you think Doug Leishman and Art Ettlinger are respected in the minning indsustry

I am glad that your experience with crooked government which does not follow the law is resulting in settlements with all companies involved
due to the first finding itself in default. Nothing what you have said is relevant to Steppe, their operations, views and development. You have failed to provide anything which would be of unbiased source and your comments on stock performance expresses that you should analize if you are not being unwise only in the short run. Your personal opinion as much as contradictory and creative at the same time serves no purpose other than your private war against the K. I can't be certain of the future as you are but I still have to learn in my own way about Steppe dealing with Kazak's authorities. Since so far there was no problem recorded and the man who runs the business is satisfied I have no reason to think otherwise. Recent news release tells me that Standard Bank of London is willing to lend the money to Steppe, which again makes a positive impression on Steppe versus Kazakhstan.
Junior mining is full of failures and as an investor I have learned to look at both sides of the problem. I also have learned that many times unability to perform is being easily blamed on politics, geology, terrain, governments. On the end it tells me that company involved have never gone far enough in their own dd when they decided to go to certain geographical location.
If government was bad they should have knew about it. If there was no electricity they would knew about it in a week. If the smelter could not proccess the ore, how come they did not know that? You have not given me any details accept the formula of binding contract-So what was KGFC suppose to do with the mines in return to the right of operating them? What contract you refering to in regard of WWS? They pulled out because they did not get any(for exporting uranium to US). Placer settlement was negotiated and if you give me any details I will be glad.
Do us both favor and makes some points here instead of insulting good people of this thread with your writing. As for hopes I use fundamentals not hopes in my investing.
