Phil,
Thanks for the post regarding Armstrong's (PEI) silver position. I know I have another link to the article but trying to find it is another story. As for the price of silver, the next few weeks should be interesting. A move back above the $6.00 mark should re-confirm the trend.

None other than Richard Pomboy, whose comments have drawn considerable discussion on these threads in days gone by, has not only claimed over 2 years ago that silver was being manipulated, he gave names and places. I sure wish I'd have written it down who they were. If memory serves me correctly, it was a couple of fired Drexel Burnham traders who concoccted and began executing said strategy. But that is just a memory. I could be misspeaking about the brkg house named.

My point?
This (manipulation)is not new news. And I rather strongly doubt Armstrong's contrarian position is a newly placed short either...

phil,
<<It would be very disappointing to learn that someone in his
position would use personal gain to try to manipulate the price.>>

Just what position does he hold that makes him immune to greed and corruption.?Remember, his clents are some of the wealthiest people in the world.Course, mavbe they achieved their wealth thru charity and kindness.

Sorry about the sarcasm...it's definitely one of my faults...
