My view is that when insiders sell a relatively small percentage
of their stock, it is not a big deal. They may just need some cash
to purchase a big ticket item. If they sell a large percentage,
it could be a sign of problems.
With regard to insider buying, this is often a better indicator, especially if
the buying increases their stock position significantly. This shows that
the insider has confidence in the stock performance.
Recently, many insiders at IDTI have been purchasing shares in large amounts
and I expect that IDTI will perform well in the near future. I have not seen
if there have been any insider purchases of AMAT lately, though. Certainly,
any insider purchases would increase the chances of a big move
for AMAT in the next 6 months.

Best Regards,

JN
