don

the conventional thinking has been that you need a liquid market

for instance when i asked TT why he traded the OEX calls instead of SPX his response was that it was more liquid as was Kevins (all before the split)

Still dont know why this is an advantage and I cant remember if anyone has explained to me
Maybe someone here can.

It would be interesting to see the difference in the illiquid market versus the liquid market. I wonder if they strip the premiums less...
although I have seen them strip the JPN's pretty bad.

ANYONE KNOW THE SYMBOL FOR THE HSI OPTIONS
thanks for everyone telling me that there are options, BUT I NEED THE SYMBOL and I can't find it.

btw, check out the King of the Market Prognosticators...http://come.to/zena

any comments to add?

Don,

One Q.... if you are the only person trading the position, doesnt that usually mean that you are limited as to the pricing of your position?

Without volume, the BEST you could expect is block scheduled pricing, and it only could be worse, since there is no demand, pricing isnt going to be positive.

Or do you really worry about tick for tick prices or the like?

When I get into any position I like to make sure I am not overpaying and when i get out, I always place a limit order as so I dont get screwed by MM's pricing me.

I hope I came across clearly..
