Yes and No. Prior to the last election, there were 127 Democrats in the House who signed on to Medicare for all. That number is most likely higher today. Kamala Harris is on record for supporting Medicare for all. But does she have the courage and guts to withstand the insurance lobby in this country? It appears not. Would Tulsi Gabbard or Elizabeth Warren be able to stand true to their principles? I don't know the answer to that question. It costs a lot of money to run for office and I am sure these candidates take money from interests which conflict with their own values. I am not apologizing for them. Most Democrats suck. They will follow whatever their Speaker or Majority leader tells them to do, in most instances. After all, they all have cozy health insurance and don't have to worry as long as they remain in power.
