Elizabeth:

Thanks for the links. The semi industry is not yet ready for X-ray. It is still at least 5 yrs. out. To accelerate the pace, at least one company with deep pocket must commit to this technology and put in production with proven lower cost than the standard. Once that is achieved the rest will follow. This is similar to the 300mm technology. A few companies such as Siemens, Intel, Motorola, etc. are building fabs for 300mm. Thus the equipment makers and other semi-companies are following closely behind. The only difference is that 300mm is easier technology than x-ray.

Betty,

You have been JMAR's best booster, do you post here because you want us to share in JAMR's sucess? Is this another technolgy we could invest in ahead of its time, so that we could wait years until it comes to fruition, another Cymer with a exponential time line? I must say you have caused me to check into JMAR a number of times, if I miss that boat, I'll be the first to say so. The quality of your posts have always been quite high, I enjoy them, and find them informative, but no JMAR just yet.

Regards,

Ed
