However, I did notice that biotechs gave up a bit of their recent gains this week. At Friday’s close, the Contest median was up 12.26% YTD (vs. 13.33% YTD a week ago), the Nasdaq Biotech Index (NBI) was up 11.41% YTD (vs. 13.99% YTD a week ago), the smaller-cap S&P Biotechnology Select Industry Index (SPSIBI) was up 14.85% YTD (vs. 16.64% YTD a week ago) and the Nasdaq Composite Index (NCI) was up 9.99% YTD (vs. up 9.47% YTD a week ago). Propelled by CNST, Contest leader HOOD’s portfolio, up a dazzling 39.66% YTD, continued to fly higher. SANCTU’s portfolio, up 28.11% YTD, held on to second place, while DEWDIL’s portfolio, up 25.34% YTD, slipped into third place. At Friday's close, 36 of the 39 Contest portfolios were in the green, with 22 beating the NBI and 11 beating the pumped SPSIBI. The 167 Contest stock picks have an average YTD gain of 14.90% and a median YTD gain of 11.31%. Below is the Top Ten list. Also below are the Top 5 & Bottom 5 Stocks for the week ranked by % Gained and % Lost YTD. (Prices not converted to US$ in these Tables.) Portfolio adjustments: None. (All corrections, especially adjustments for splits & mergers, greatly appreciated.) Enjoy a safe & fun weekend biotechies!
