Nice bounce off a beating from last month. Normal, CEFs dipping Oct. to Dec., but surprised on some preferreds esp. with interest rates going nowhere. I think some have more to come back. I expect my portfolio yield will be coming down. Goal of $20k, for all intents and purposes is right there, I could have it Monday. APPL HRS RMD and SNX, all earning under 2%, $731 of income, could be sold, with the proceeds put into old stalwarts, T MO D, and put it to 21K. CE the high yielder of my buys lately at 2.6%. At the moment, I would rather put the money into a few of what I see as dividend growth/total return stocks. Current yields not important to me, so many more stocks in my universe. ALEAF Opening a new grow facility, took a 10% interest in an Australian company to start going international, and looking to get listed on the Nasdaq. Currently a buyer in the industry consolidation, but I wouldn't be surprised it they were bought. Looks kinda like the dotcom boom to me. Serious money could be made if one knew who was getting bought next imho. I've tried to add to VEND, but we can't agree on price. lol! I've put good till canceled buys in three times, later canceling to use the money elsewhere. That's when the dip comes. Close to getting tired of it. If I sell, I should let everyone know, so they can buy. Bought some PYDS a while back, and bought some for a buddy. Got tired of waiting and sold. Last two weeks have my buddy up 74%. The way it goes sometimes. Already sold the GOOG and FB. Added 350 ENPH Friday at $6.62. Currently, ALEAF ENPH NBEV total $17,148. They don't know it, but I plan on them supplying the $20,000 on the nondiv side. AMZN on the way out. VEND -37%, and WKHS +51% just lottery tickets.
