I have pondered whether to try Hughes' DirecPC. Purchase cost is $299, with some freebies thrown in to sweeten the deal. You can get evening(after 6) and weekend unlimited use at 200Kps for $19.95(400kps for $39.95), but you must also have an ISP account, so throw in another $19.95. A 400kps account for 6am to 6pm access is $129.95 per month--that is a bit steep. But, wife is already unhappy with the "dish farm" in the backyard(Echostar and DTN), so I will wait to add a third. Are there any DirecPC users out there with comments?
