I hear poor English spoken by news people, I hear it in films, everywhere...

One of the most frequent examples of improper English is the use if "I" when they should use "me" instead, I is the subject of the sentence and me is the object of the sentence...

I hear so often, for example, I bought it for my husband and I... that clangs so loudly, it actually hurts and it shows their stupidity and their poor command of the language...

My Anna lies over the sea,
My Anna lies over the ocean,
Oh, bring back my Anna to me.
