The computer industry is investing its future in high product turnover, continued obsolesence and the 'new and better' carrot for consumerism and growth. On line that means ever increasing bandwidth and processing, off line it means greater storage, intelligent storage, and new image acquisition tools (cameras, scanners, video, voice, new sensors like satellites and live data feeds). The business of storage is well connected with the future.. Jim
