<<OT>> Skeeter, for Virus protection, download McAfee Antivirus and ALWAYS download the latest data file when it is available. It is not expensive to register. (I always purchase the software I use regularly.)

mcafee.com

Have McAfee scan your entire disk, programs, data files and compressed files at least once. Thereafter, just set the controls to look into program files, but include a mask of "do*" and "xl*" in the list of "programs" to force the scanning of MS Word documents and Excel files.

Sbug, I'm not the techie, but the kind of stuff I do requires me to have the best techies in the business.
you have a word macro virus.
the reason your virus program didn't catch it is it lives in a word file not an executeable.
go to the microsoft website
find the word section and download the word micro virus detector.
it will highlight the word doc's now infected. tell you what to do.
don't do anything more in your word.
do it now.good luck.
if this is at work tell your network analsyt asap.
